ASLE has expanded the scope of the Txemi Cantera Award with the creation of the Social Economy Cantera Award, designed to recognise emerging companies that promote a socio-business approach aligned with our values. This award is aimed at companies with fewer than ten years of activity.

WHO WAS TXEMI CANTERA?
Txemi Cantera was a tireless advocate for the worker-owned company movement in the Basque Country. His vision centred on the active participation of employees within companies. In his own words: “Commitment, solidarity, the importance of collective effort, coherence, and the pursuit of overcoming the major social changes that each generation is called upon to face.”
